Several natural deterrents exist that can help defend your home without the need for harsh chemicals. You may plant a border of mint, lavender, or rosemary, for example. Organic products now appearing on the market are using these ingredients and others, such as garlic, cinnamon, and clove to keep rats and mice at bay.
